Earlier this week Dec Donnelly revealed he will be presenting the final two episodes of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on his own, after his on-screen partner Ant McPartlin was charged with drink driving.

After Ant's arrest on Sunday evening, viewers of the show were left wondering about its future. Dec released a statement at the time, confirming the two shows will go ahead and now the line-up for the first show without Ant has been confirmed.

The show, which will return to our TV screens on Saturday 31st March, will feature Paloma Faith, The Script and Stephen Merchant.

Stephen will be the Star Guest Announcer, with Paloma performing for the End of the Show Show. Irish band The Script will also be on hand to perform in the 'Singalong Live!' part of the show.

And despite speculation about who could be replacing Ant, it looks like both Scarlett Moffatt and Stephen Mulhern will continue their usual roles on the show, meaning Dec will present solo.

After his best friend's incident, Dec took to Twitter to write, 'Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead.

'We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that. Everyone at ITV and the Takeaway team feels we owe it to the audience to complete the series. Dec x' sic

After the statement was released, many viewers of the show were quick to praise Dec for his words, wishing him good luck for the shows.

Earlier in the week, ITV released their own statement confirming that Saturday night's episode of the popular show has been cancelled, with Ant stepping down from all TV duties. The presenter is now set to go back into rehab to focus on getting better.

The statement from ITV read, "Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from his current TV commitments. He has spoken with Dec and ITV today and asked for time off for the foreseeable future.

"ITV has taken a joint decision with Ant and Dec’s team not to broadcast Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend. We will be reviewing options for the last two episodes of the series which would not feature Ant who is taking time off to seek treatment. We very much hope that he gets the help that he needs."

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will return to ITV on Saturday 31st March at 7pm.
