Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams has shared an embarrassing throwback picture posing with presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ahead of the new series, Britain's Got Talent: The Champions.

Captioning the photo, 'An oldie but a goodie', the comedian shared the pic on Twitter of the trio.

Ant and Dec and David Walliams and his fellow judges will return to our screens on August 31st for a brand new version of the hit talent show, Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, a series with previous winners battling to be the ultimate champion.

The official BGT: The Champions line-up

Paul Potts

The show's first-ever winner Paul Potts was an opera singer who won over audiences in 2007.

George Sampson

Break-dancer George Sampson was just 14-years-old when he won the second series in 2008.

Stavros Flatley

Father and son duo Demetrios Demetriou and Lagi Demetriou may not have won the show in 2009, but they won a place in viewers' hearts with their Michael Flatley-meets-Cyprus dance routine.

Twist and Pulse

Street dancing pair Twist and Pulse - AKA Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy - came second on the show in 2010, missing out on the prize to gymnastic troupe Spelbound.

Jai McDowall

Singer Jai McDowall won the series in 2011, having auditioned for The X Factor in 2010.

Ashleigh and Sully

Ashleigh Butler won the show in 2012 with her dog Pudsey. Although Pudsey sadly passed away in 2017, she'll be returning with her dog Sully.

Jack Carroll

Comedian Jack Carroll was just 14-years-old when he made it to the 2013 final with his stand-up routine, narrowly missing out to Hungarian shadow theatre group Attraction.

Collabro

Musical theatre singers Collabro won the show in 2014, although Richard Hadfield (centre) has now left the group.

Richard Jones

Richard Jones became the first magician to win the show in the 2016 series.

Lost Voice Guy

Comedian Lee Ridley won the show in 2018 with his incredible act using his communication aid.

Colin Thackery

Chelsea Pensioner Colin Thackery won the show in 2019 for his incredible singing act.

Ben Hart

Magician Ben Hart came third in 2019 after Colin Thackery won, but judge David Walliams called him the "living embodiment of magic."

The ITV team told us that each week, two acts will make it through to the final. There will be a Golden Buzzer act chosen by either one of the judges or by Ant & Dec, and the second act will be voted by fans in the live audience.

ITV say, 'Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will bring together the world’s most talented and memorable acts from past series of Got Talent. The acts will compete in this supersized version of BGT, all trying to be crowned the ultimate champion and walk away with the cash prize and coveted Champions Trophy,' also referring to the show as the 'Olympics of Talent'

The series will air on ITV on Saturday 31st August.
