13.Reasons Why hit our TV screens back in 2017, with the first series following high school student, Clay Jensen after his friend Hannah Baker, committed suicide - and the 13 reasons that led to her actions.

Katherine Langford as Hannah Baker

The second series then followed the aftermath of Hannah's death, with the characters' journeys toward healing and recovery. The teenagers' High School found itself on trial, but someone tried to cover up the truth surrounding Hannah's death, however, Clay and his classmates uncovered a sickening secret.

Last month Netflix announced they would be removing the suicide scene from the first season of 13 Reasons Why, after being faced with criticism for showing Hannah's suicide.

This decision was praised by the charity Samaritans, who said, "We welcome Netflix’s decision to edit out the suicide scene from the first season of 13 Reasons Why.

"We raised our concerns over the content and have been working with the Netflix team here in the UK to provide advice on the safe portrayal of suicide, including viewer support and signposting to helplines such as Samaritans."
