The Weeknd is thinking about changing his stage name

The Weeknd could be no more. But don't panic! The Canadian singer, real name Abel Tesfaye isn't going anywhere, but is considering changing his stage name.

Selena Gomez’s other half made the revelation during his cover interview with Harper’s Bazaar. Telling the magazine: “kind of like pulling a Ziggy Stardust. Maybe I’ll retire from being The Weeknd”, adding “or maybe I’ll just give him a break.” Does this mean the singer is set to go by his real name or perhaps the ‘Starboy’ is planning another reincarnation?
