Sigala shares heartfelt video as he updates fans on his album 'Every Cloud'
It's been delayed numerous times
Last updated 13th Nov 2023
Back in March this year (2023) Sigala released the first part of his album 'Every Cloud'. The full album was originally intended to be released in March 2023, however this was subsequently delayed until September 2023, and then December 2023.
Now, just a few weeks away from the revised release date, Sigala has taken to social media to share the sad news that he's decided not to release the full album, revealing that it was delayed to getting clearance on a sample, which took more than a year and a half.
He captioned his Instagram video: 'Hi everyone, I have a sad announcement to share with you - I am officially not releasing my second album Every Cloud.
'It’s obviously been a long and difficult decision. There was one song on the album with a sample that we worked for a long time to get clearance on, which led to the album being delayed several times. The continued delays meant that some of the album’s songs were now written two years or more ago. I don’t feel that the album is a representation of where I am right now.'
He continued: 'Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered Every Cloud, came to my headline tour earlier this year, and supported me in any way. I have so much love for you all.
'Anyone who pre-ordered the album will of course be refunded as soon as possible through the original place you purchased.'
Despite the sad news, he did also confirm he is working on new music saying: 'In the meantime, I’ve been in the studio every day working on new music. I have so many things I want to share with you very soon.'
