Rita Ora: 'I'm Really Nervous About The BRITs!'
She's up for three awards tonight
Rita Ora has admitted she’s “really nervous” about The BRIT Awards tonight.
The 22-year-old songstress is up for two awards – British Breakthrough Act and British Single of the Year for ‘R.I.P’ and her DJ Fresh collaboration ‘Hot Right Now’ – and admits she’s equally excited and anxious about the ceremony.
Rita told In:Demand: “I’m very nervous actually, I don’t know I was so so happy but you always get that nervous feeling.
“You don’t want to think about it but you do. I don’t know we’ll just see what happens.”
Despite being the bookies’ favourite to triumph tonight, Emeli Sandé is equally cautious about her chances.
“Yeah it’s been quite a year, so to have this acknowledgement is great and to come here after winning the Critics’ Choice is really cool so fingers crossed!”
Emeli is up for British Female Solo Artist, British Album of the Year for ‘Our Version of Events’ and British Single of the Year for ‘Next To Me’ plus her Labrinth collaboration ‘Beneath Your Beautiful.’
The Scottish star will also perform her current single ‘Clown’ in front of the O2 Arena crowd and estimated 6million on TV.
Muse, Ben Howard, Mumford & Sons, One Direction, Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift make up the rest of the live performers.
