Rihanna: 'Princess Diana Was Gangsta'
She praises the late Princess as a style icon
Rihanna has heaped praise on the late Princess Diana calling her a fashion “gangsta.”
The 25-year-old Bajan superstar, who’s widely regarded as a style icon, was asked by Glamour Magazine about who is her biggest fashion hero.
She swiftly responded: "You know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. She was like - she killed it. Every look was right. She was gangsta with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore!"
Elsewhere in the candid interview, Rihanna spoke about how her turbulent relationship with Chris Brown affected her.
"I had to regain my fearlessness because it did go away for a little bit,” she said. “My mother said something to me a few years ago: 'I’ve seen something in your eyes I’ve never seen before: fear.' She was like, 'No, this is not you.' I just got back to being OK with myself."
