Prince To Present First BRIT Award of 2014
He'll take time out from playing secret gigs
The Purple One himself, Prince, will present the first BRIT Award of 2014 this coming Wednesday (19th February).
Currently playing a series of covert gigs in London and Manchester, Prince will take time out of his busy schedule to present the inaugural honour of the night with his backing band 3rd Eye Girl.
Unfortunately, Prince won’t be strutting his stuff live but there will be live performances from Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Disclosure and Pharrell Williams.
Live performances will be made available on the night exclusively to iTunes with the first 30 days proceeds going to War Child and the BRIT Trust.
Bastille and Rudimental lead the nominations charge at the BRITs with four nominations each – British Group, British Breakthrough Act, British Single (Bastille for 'Pompeii' and Disclosure for 'White Noise' ft AlunaGeorge) and British Album of the Year.
