The McFly man is doing his bit for charity

McFly heartthrob Harry Judd is stretching his body to the limit by undertaking two gruelling challenges for charity this spring.

Together with four of his close mates, 27-year-old Harry will run the London Marathon on 21st April then two weeks later (with limbs still aching!) take part in Tough Mudder – an event that bills itself as ‘probably the toughest event on the planet.’

Taking place in the first week of May, Tough Mudder is a 12 mile-long obstacle courses designed by the Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.

All the money Harry and his friends Ben Crowder, Stuart Peters, Nick Thorley, and Bob Bennett-Baggs raise will go directly to two charities - Teenage Cancer Trust and The Eyes Alight appeal, in aid of The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.

They all braved the cold streets of London yesterday morning for a personal training session – check out the photos below!

Both charities Harry is raising funds for are very close to his heart.

The Eyes Alight appeal was founded by Harry’s wife Izzy whose brother Rupert was seriously injured in a road accident in 1997. Harry was also made an ambassador of Teenage Cancer Trust in December last year.
