One Direction Sign New 'Mega Deal' With Simon Cowell's Syco

It could make them £10million each, according to reports

One Direction have signed a lucrative new deal with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco.

As the band prepare to release their third album ‘Midnight Memories’ this November, the new “mega contract” will reportedly keep them on the imprint until at least 2016.

According to The Daily Mirror, Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall could earn a whopping £10million EACH over the coming years through the deal.

A Syco spokesperson said: "Simon Cowell and One Direction are delighted to confirm they have agreed to continue their hugely successful relationship with a new long-term agreement with Syco.

“Simon and the band look forward to many years of continued success together.”

Simon Cowell signed One Direction immediately after they finished third on The X Factor in December 2010.

In the UK alone, since then they’ve scored sold almost two million copies of their albums ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Take Me Home’, scored three number one singles and five further Top 10 smashes.
