Meghan Trainor will be cancelling her US tour due to illness.
The 'All About The Bass' singer posted a statement on Instagram saying "I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again. I got bronchitis & have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge. Sadly, I will need to cancel the remainder of my tour and get surgery to finally fix this once and for all."
In July this year Meghan haemorrhaged her vocal cords and was ordered a vocal rest which resulted in the cancellation of some of her shows in the US when she posted this apology to her fans saying, "I'm so sorry Megatronz please forgive me. I will never speak and completely heal as soon as possible".
The singer is in the middle of her the 'MTrain Tour' which is her second tour this year, following on from her 'That Bass' international tour which ended in June.
Haemorrhaged vocal cords is becoming more common amongst singers with Sam Smith and Jess Glynne suffering from the same problem earlier this year.
