Little Mix cancel international tour dates to work on 'new music'

Little Mix, who are currently on their 'LM5' tour in the UK have announced they will be cancelling the Australia and New Zealand legs to work on 'new music'. Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson took to Twitter to announce the sad news to their fans in a statement.

The statement read, 'We are really sad to announce that we have to cancel our upcomimg Australian and New Zealand tour dates. We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows. This is not a decision we've taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music.'

They ended the statement by confirming fans could get a full refund for the shows.

As expected this has left many fans disappointed in Australia and New Zealand with one fan saying, 'that makes me sad and a bit mad', another tweeted, 'Nah man this is so so SO wrong.' sic

Little Mix are currently in the middle of the UK leg of their 'LM5' tour having performed in Liverpool earlier this week before starting a run of three dates in Newcastle, and finally ending in London on the 21st November.

This news comes in the same week that the girls announced they would be launching a new collection with PrettyLittleThing. Earlier this week, Little Mix shared a photo of the group wearing complementing outfits in front of the Eiffel Tower, telling their fans, '#PLTxLittleMix ⚜ IS COMING 💕✨ We’re so excited to announce that our collection with @prettylittlething is launching on November 7th. We’ve absolutely loved creating this collection for you and can’t wait for you to see it 💖.'

This exciting news was welcomed by fans around the world, including pop star Meghan Trainer who commented on the photo saying, 'What the ffffffff ur all so stunning!!!!!!!!', sic with another fan saying, 'Omgg you girls are from another level😍'.sic
