Lily Allen Unveils New Video & 'Sheezus' Artwork!
Her third studio album arrives this May
Lily Allen has revealed the artwork and track-listing to her upcoming third album ‘Sheezus’.
Released through Regal Recordings on Monday 5th May, the standard version of the album contains 11 tracks including the recent singles ‘Hard Out Here’ and ‘Air Balloon’.
Anyone who pre-orders the album today will get the brand new track ‘Our Time’ as a free download ahead of its official release on 27th April. Check out the official video below!
The awesome album artwork depicts Lily sitting in front of an ornate palatial mansion surrounded by three Pembroke Welsh Corgis - aka The Queen’s favourite breed of hound.
Since breaking through in 2006 with her huge number one single ‘Smile’, Lily has sold 5million records and won three prestigious Ivor Novello Awards for songwriting.
After announcing her hiatus to focus on her family and other business ventures in 2010, Lily returned to the studio last year to record ‘Sheezus’ and secured a massive chart-topper with her cover of Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ shortly before Christmas.
Lily revealed last month that she was nervous about how Kanye West would react to the ‘Sheezus’ album title – a play on the name of his 2013 album ‘Yeezus’.
"I’m terrified...I thought he’d think it was a diss, but it’s totally not a diss, I love Kanye I think he’s brilliant," Lily told the NME.
"He speaks his mind, whether what he’s saying is ridiculous or not, he honestly does believe it and I think there’s a lot to be said for that.
"In this day and age people are so bland and beige and 'uhuh, yeah, I love everyone and everything and I like, totally don’t have a problem with everything', but he does have a problem!"
