Lady Gaga Praises 'Inspiring & Brave' Tom Daley For Coming Out
The Olympic athlete revealed he's dating a man yesterday
Lady Gaga has heaped praise on Tom Daley after the Olympic athlete confirmed he was bisexual this week.
!19-year-old Daley published a YouTube video yesterday morning confirming that he’s been in a relationship with a man for six months.
The 2012 Olympic bronze medallist said: "In spring this year my life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy."
Tom added that he “still fancies girls” but right now he “couldn’t be happier” in his relationship with a man.
An outspoken gay rights activist, Gaga took to Twitter last night to applaud Daley and also former basketball player Magic Johnson who spoke about his battle with HIV and his son E.J.’s sexuality on Oprah.
Mother Monster wrote: “Between @TomDaley1994 and @Magicjohnson 's Oprah Interview about his son, what an inspiring and brave week!”
Una Healy from The Saturdays, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley and Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted are among the other pop stars who’ve praised Daley.
