Kings of Leon, Jessie J and Drake are battling it out for the album chart number one this Sunday.

!Aiming to claim their fourth consecutive chart topper, Tennessee rockers Kings of Leon currently lead the charge with their acclaimed sixth album ‘Mechanical Bull’.

They’re closely followed by Drake, who should secure his highest ever UK chart position with ‘Nothing Was The Same’ – his previous career best was ‘Take Care’ in 2011, which peaked at no.5.

The current third highest entry is Jessie J’s second album ‘Alive’, which boasts the epic singles ‘Wild’ and ‘It’s My Party’.

Last week’s number one, Arctic Monkeys’ ‘AM’, has slipped to no.4 and Jason Derulo completes the Midweek Chart top five with ‘Tattoos’.

There are two other new entries inside the top 10 – Chvrches ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’ at number six and Birdy’s ‘Fire Within’ at seven.
