Justin Bieber announces break from 'Justice' tour due to health issues
He has postponed all of his remaining dates
Justin Bieber embarked on his 'Justice' world tour in February with dates lined-up into early 2023. He announced he was having health issues back in June when he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and has now postponed his remaining tour dates due to the illness.
At the start of the North American leg of his tour, Justin cancelled several dates due to his health issues and posted videos to social media showing paralysis in his face. He later assured fans he was getting better and has since continued with touring, however, he will now be taking a break from the tour.
Taking to Instagram on 6th September to address fans, he posted an announcement which reads: 'Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partly paralysed. As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.
'After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock In Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.'
He continued: 'After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realised I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!' (sic)
As well as shows across South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, the 'Lonely' singer was scheduled to play 11 dates across the UK in February and March 2023, with shows in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and London.
Justin didn't give any indication as to when he would be back and following the announcement it is not yet clear when the tour will continue.
We're wishing Justin a speedy recovery!
