Everything you need to know about Joel Corry's debut album 'Another Friday Night'

Joel Corry dropped his debut album 'Another Friday Night' on 6th October 2023, months after he first announced it. Despite having a number of huge hits under his belt, such as Love Island anthem 'Sorry', 'Lonely', 'Head & Heart' with MNEK, 'Out Out' with Jax Jones and '0800 Heaven' with Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson, this is the first time fans can get all of his songs on an album.
Taking to Instagram on the day of the album's release, Joel told his fans: 'If you told me 5 years ago I would have an album out today with hit singles, touring the world and be working with the most amazing talented artists on the planet…I would have said you’re crazyyy! This is a real dream come true!!!
'I wouldn’t be here without my team. Thank you to my record label and management for believing in me and working so hard every single day!'
He continued: 'Thank you to all the artists and song writers who have been part of this album. I feel so lucky and proud when I look at the album track list and collaborations.
'Thank you to my family for always being there through the good and the not so good moments. This industry is tough at times and I’m grateful to have a loving family around me.
'Most importantly, thank you to all of you that support me and my music. You have made all my dreams in life come true. Enjoy this album and see you on the dance floor soon, love Joel x'.
Fans were eagerly awaiting the release of the album and left loads of excited messages. One wrote: '🔥 We can now blare out Hey DJ!! 🙌👏 Congratulations @joelcorry ❤️', another said: 'Amazing album in my car blasting well done xx ❤️'.
Fellow artists MNEK and Nathan Dawe also commented saying: 'v v v happy for you ❤️❤️❤️' and 'Let’s go!!!!!'. (sic)
A day before the album's release, the DJ also shared a video of himself playing a vinyl copy of his album, as he explained how it was 'so cool' to see his album on vinyl, remembering his teenage years he captioned his video: 'Brings me back to my teenage years getting the bus to Scream Records in Southgate every weekend and digging through Garage vinyl.'
How successful is 'Another Friday Night'?
Joel's album has been very successful, in just over a month it was certified Silver in the UK. Joel took to social media to tell his fans: 'My album has gone silver in the UK!! @brits 💿 It’s the highest selling dance album of 2023 so far!!'.
