James Arthur says he has a collab with a 'really special' person coming up
He hopes to release it later this year
We love the incredible James Arthur. He's released many popular songs since 2012, and has now released his fifth studio album 'Bitter Sweet Love', with a tour due to start in March.
The singer, who recently told us about his lucky number 23, has also revealed that he has a collaboration coming up with someone 'really special'.
Last year, we asked James about his album, and he said that he'd love to team up with a couple of major pop stars saying: "I'd love Taylor Swift to be part (of it), or Miley Cyrus. Those girls cross over into the country and pop world and I'm kind of going there on this new album."
However, this time around when we followed up with him, he said he hadn't worked with either of them. In fact, in his words he got "pied" by Miley! However, he did tease a collaboration with a 'really special' person. He told us: "We did find someone really special though, to sing on the song that I was talking about last time I was here. So that's good. I can't tell you who it is..."
And despite asking several times, James is remaining tight-lipped. At present, James' album tracklist does not include any featured artists, but James did tell us: "It'll be (released) probably around the time I go on tour in America, which is like April/May time."
So it sounds like we'll have to wait a few more months until we get to hear this new collab.
James has previously teamed up with some pretty impressive names, such as Anne-Marie, Rudimental, Sigala and Lost Frequencies.
Before touring in America, James will be touring the UK and Ireland starting in March, with most of his dates already sold out.
