It's been a long time coming, but finally David Guetta and Bebe Rexha have released 'I'm Good (Blue)'. The song, which was originally remixed by the duo YEARS ago, has become a massive hit on TikTok, resulting on a formal release today (26th August).

Taking to TikTok to explain her excitement at the release, Bebe told her fans: '@davidguetta and i remixed this song years ago and we never released it. I have no idea how it made it to tik tok but i love it! Cheers! Xoxoxo', (sic). She later confirmed the release date in the comments.

The official music video has now been released and it features both David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, with shots of the nightclub Ushuaïa in Ibiza.

Meanwhile David Guetta, who has had huge songs such as 'Titanium' featuring Sia, and 'Heartbreak Anthem' with Little Mix, shared a clip prior to release, telling his fans: "We're almost done, almost done, like 95%!"

He previously revealed that despite not releasing the song before, he has played it at festivals, the first time being at Ultra Music Festival in Miami back in 2017.

Awards and nominations for 'I'm Good (Blue)'

David and Bebe have been nominated for plenty of awards for the track - including a Grammy! The pair won Best Collaboration at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2022, and were nominated at the Grammys for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and at the BRIT Awards 2023 for Best International Song, missing out on both to Beyoncé for 'Break My Soul'.

David performed the song in a medley at the BRITs along with 'Remember' and 'Crazy What Love Can Do', taking to the stage with Becky Hill, Ella Henderson and Sam Ryder.

Which song does 'I'm Good (Blue)' sample?

The song heavily samples the 1999 hit by Eiffel 65's 'Blue (Da Be Dee)', which went to Number 1 in at least 18 countries, including here in the UK.

As fans will know, this isn't the first time the French DJ has remixed a 90s dance classic, with David releasing 'Play Hard' back in 2018 which heavily sampled Alice Deejay's 'Better Off Alone'.

'I'm Good (Blue)' is David's follow-up to his massive hit 'Crazy What Love Can Do' with Becky Hill and Ella Henderson, however, it's been several years since Bebe has had success here in the UK, with her last big hit being 'Meant To Be' with Florida Georgia Line in 2017.

David Guetta scored his first Number 1 in the UK with 'When Love Takes Over' in 2009. The collaboration, featuring former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, was released as the lead single from his fourth studio album, 'One Love'.

2. 'Sexy Chick' featuring Akon (2009)

The French DJ followed up is first UK Number 1 with 'Sexy Chick' which also hit the top spot. The single featured on David's 'One Love' album and was popular around the world. The song was written in just one night after the artists met at a festival.

3. 'Gettin' Over You' with Chris Willis featuring Fergie and LMFAO (2010)

Despite being French, David didn't get a Number 1 in his home country until he released 'Gettin' Over You' in 2010. The single also topped the charts in a number of other countries, including the UK. It was certified Gold in the UK selling 400,000 copies.

4. 'Where Them Girls At' featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj (2011)

Originally titled 'Where Dem Girls At', this 2011 single was a Number 3 hit for the DJ in the UK. To begin with, Flo Rida was the only collaborator on the song, however after Nicki Minaj was approached, the rapper had a listen and she decided to record some vocals for the song.

5. 'Little Bad Girl' featuring Taio Cruz and Ludacris (2011)

'Little Bad Girl' was co-written by David Guetta and the featuring artists, Taio Cruz and Ludacris. It featured on David's 2011 album, 'Nothing But The Beat' as well as Taio Cruz's album 'TY.O.' released in the same year.

6. 'Titanium' featuring Sia (2011)

'Titanium' was written by Sia, David Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort and Afrojack, and became yet ANOTHER Number 1 for the French DJ. 'Titanium' was the first released track that David and Sia collaborated on. Since releasing 'Titanium', they have continued to work together on a number of different songs over the years, including 'Flames'.

7. 'Shot Me Down' featuring Skylar Grey (2014)

Featuring the vocals of American singer Skylar Grey, 'Shot Me Down' was popular around the world reaching Number 4 in the UK. The song was a reworking of Cher's original 'Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)' in 1966, which was also covered by Nancy Sinatra in the same year.

8. 'Lovers on the Sun' featuring Sam Martin (2014)

'Lovers on the Sun' was yet ANOTHER Number 1 for David Guetta. The single was combination of different musical genres, country, folk and electronic dance music. The song was featured on his sixth studio album, 'Listen' and was released as the lead single. 'Lovers on the Sun' was certified Gold in the UK, selling 400,000 copies.

9. '2U' featuring Justin Bieber (2017)

'2U' was the lead single from David Guetta's album '7'. It featured the voice of Canadian singer Justin Bieber and is pop-dance at its best. There are two versions of the music video, one features Victoria's Secrets models lipsyncing to Justin's vocals.

10. 'Flames' with Sia (2018)

David Guetta has released a number of collaborations including his hit 'Flames', with Australian singer Sia. 'Flames' was written by both David and Sia along with a team of songwriters. This hit is the sixth song that the pair have collaborated on.

11. 'Don't Leave Me Alone' and Anne-Marie (2018)

In July 2018, David Guetta and British singer Anne-Marie dropped their fantastic collaboration 'Don't Leave Me Alone'. Nearly a month after its release, the pair dropped their official music video for the hit song which featured Anne-Marie in her apartment when she receives a parcel.
On opening it, the parcel turns out to be a VR headset which she puts on. Once in a new dimension, Anne-Marie finds herself experiencing a strobe-lit dance floor, then a picturesque forest with and bitter mountaintops, she eventually 'sees' her ideal partner.

12. 'Heartbreak Anthem' with Little Mix (2021)

In May 2021, David Guetta, Swedish DJ duo Galantis and Little Mix teamed up on their epic collab 'Heartbreak Anthem'. The song hit the Number 1 spot on the UK Dance Chart and the Number 3 spot on the UK Singles Chart.
The song was also one of the most played songs of the year, along with another collab from the year with Joel Corry and RAYE 'Bed'.

13: 'Crazy What Love Can Do' with Becky Hill and Ella Henderson (2022)

In March 2022, David Guetta teased a new track with Becky Hill and Ella Henderson. The track was titled 'Crazy What Love Can Do', and was later released on 8th April of that year. The song's music video came in the form of a 'mini movie', starring David, Ella and Becky. The song hit the Number 5 spot in the UK chart, as well as Number 2 in the UK Dance Chart. In August 2024, it received 2x Platinum certification, selling more than 1,200k copies.

14: 'I'm Good (Blue)' with Bebe Rexha (2022)

Years after the song was recorded, and after it went viral on TikTok, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha released 'I'm Good (Blue)' - and it's fair to say it became a massive hit! Sampling the 90s classic 'Blue' by Eiffel 65, January 2023 saw the song nominated for a BRIT Award for International Song of The Year - however the track lost out to Beyoncé for 'Break My Soul'.


Given the song's insane popularity on TikTok, it's no surprise the bop hit the Number 1 spots on both the UK Singles and Dance charts, and is now certified 3x Platinum in the UK.

15. David Guetta, Anne-Marie and Coi Leray - 'Baby Don't Hurt Me' (2023)

David Guetta sent fans into wild back in March 2023 when he premiered a new song called 'Baby Don't Hurt Me'. The DJ was joined on stage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami by Coi Leray, who features on his collab along with Anne-Marie. Hitting the almighty Number 4 spot on the UK Dance Chart, the song also entered the UK Singles Chart at Number 13. It's since been certified Platinum.

16. 'I Don't Wanna Wait' with OneRepublic (2024)

After premiering his new song 'I Don't Wanna Wait', with OneRepublic in March 2024 at the Ultra Music Festival, David Guetta later dropped the banger on 5th April, along with a live music video with the band's frontman Ryan Tedder. Sampling O-Zone's 2003 song 'Dragostea Din Tei', the track was instantly popular, cruising to the top of the charts in the UK — and becoming certified Gold.
