He took them by surprise!
Last updated 9th Jun 2023
Irish singer Cian Ducrot has taken commuters by surprise in a busy train station after he decided to do a flash mob, performing his new song 'Heaven'.
The singer, who has his debut album 'Victory' due for release next month, posted a video of his flash mob at Charing Cross Station. In the video he can be seen walking through the busy station as he starts to sing.
Catching some commuters off-guard, he is soon joined by a group of dancers, and as the camera pans around, fans, including a hen do, can be seen joining in.
Then, just as quickly as it happened, everyone disperses and Cian grabs his phone and says: "Hello?" Watch the moment below.
Since sharing the video, fans have been leaving comments with one saying: 'The lady learning the moves needs to be in the next flashmob. Love her,' another wrote: 'Don't stop doing these man.' A further fan commented: 'That lucky crowd!! I’d be losing my mind with excitement! Loved the spectator lady who raised her arms up & down!'
Cian has now released several songs from his upcoming album, including 'Part of Me' and his current single 'Heaven'. When he announced details of his album, he told his fans about his personal experiences that shaped his music, including experiencing childhood trauma.
As part of a Twitter thread he said: 'To begin to understand the album there’s some things you need to know about my life, where I came from, how I was raised, and the kind of kid I was. A broken home at an early age is where the story really began, my mom, my brother and I became a team and music was our saviour.' (sic)
Cian's album will be released on 21st July 2023.
