Cheryl Cole Guests Stars On Coronation Street - PHOTOS

Cheryl Cole has filmed a very special sketch with the cast of Coronation Street!

Scriptwriters on the show have written a storyline that sees Cheryl arrive on Weatherfield’s world famous cobbles looking for her childhood friend Tina McIntyre (played by Michelle Keagan).

Cheryl wants to travel home to Newcastle with Tina but as always with Coronation Street, she soon encounters some tricky problems!

The one-off sketch was filmed for ITV’s annual charity show Text Santa, which airs at 8pm on Friday 20th December.

Ant & Dec, Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby and Christine Bleakley & Paddy McGuinness are the presenter line-up for the show that raises money and awareness for six charities.

This year’s charities have been unveiled as Age UK, Barnardo's, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.

100% of donations made by viewers go directly to the charities Text Santa supports.
