10 Reasons Why One Direction’s Tour Will Rock!

1. They’re Amazing Live Performers One Direction are the real deal on the live stage. They’re flawless live singers, great entertainers and to top it all off they’re backed by a brilliant live band. Over the next year the lads will play more than 50 shows across the globe as their sprawling Take Me Home Tour continues, so expect them to be EVEN BETTER by May 2014!!

2. Expect A MASSIVE Production One Direction’s Take Me Home Tour was a visual spectacular with kaleidoscopic backdrops, lasers, exploding ticker tape & more eye-catching treats. Taking their lead from their stadium conquering boyband predecessors Take That, expect an even better, bigger and louder production from 1D on The Where We Are Tour!

3. They’re Mega Experienced By the time One Direction play the first date at Sunderland Stadium of Light, they will have headlined almost 200 arena shows across four continents and dozens of countries. A prolific live act at home on the stage, the boys will be in their element in front of up to 80,000 screaming fans a night!

4. They’ll Play Songs From Album No.3 Last month Niall and Louis both confirmed that One Direction’s third album will be out before the end of 2013. So, alongside all your ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Take Me Home’ favourites, the boys will also be performing tracks from album number three! Exciting times!

5. It’ll Be A Complete Sell Out If the Up All Night Tour and Take Me Home Tour are anything to go by, The Where We Are Tour will sell out faster than Usain Bolt off the starting blocks! This means that every night will be bunged to capacity, there will be no empty seats and the atmosphere will be electric!

6. One Direction Love Their Fans Speaking about performing live earlier this year, Niall Horan said: “I love the screaming. The fans love it, too: they’ve all got their tickets and they’ve been waiting a year or so to see you, so you’ve got to give it your best.” Never ones to shy away from how much they love their fans, One Direction always give it their all - The Where We Are Tour won’t be an exception!

7. A 1D Career Highlight From the way the lads were talking at the press conference, it’s clear that the stadium shows will be one of the highlights of their career so far. Who would want to miss out on this special landmark moment with One Direction?!

8. Their Longest Set Yet?! The Up All Night Tour featured a 16-song set. By the Take Me Home Tour, Niall, Harry, Liam, Louis and Zayn were averaging 21 songs a night. By our reckoning, and with another album to perform tracks from, they’ll be up to around 26 songs on The Where We Are Tour. Don’t hold us to it though!

9. More Space To Go Crazy Crazy Crazy We all know how much One Direction like to jump around the stage with boundless energy. Imagine how much room they’re going to have to go crazy, crazy, crazy on the stadium tour?!

10. THEY WILL PLAY MORE SHOWS! Fans across the world don’t worry, the South American and UK & Ireland dates are just the start!! There will be more stadium dates across the globe in 2014!
