Kanye West to perform at The BRITs tonight!
His first BRITs performance in nine years
Kanye West has been confirmed as the final live act at The BRIT Awards tonight!
Despite not actually being nominated for any awards, the rapper will bring his incredible live production to The O2 Arena ceremony.
The three times BRIT Awards winner in the International Male Artist category last performed at The BRITs in 2006 where he was backed by 77 dancers spray painted in gold for a greatest hits medley of ‘Gold Digger’, ‘Touch The Sky’ and ‘Diamonds from Sierra Leone’.
Kanye joins a sensational live line-up that boasts Madonna, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood and Take That.
Sam Smith dominates the nominations with nods in five categories – British male solo artist, British breakthrough act, British single and British artist video of the year (‘Stay With Me’) and British album of the year (‘In The Lonely Hour’).
He’s closely followed by fellow solo artists Ed Sheeran and George Ezra who have four prestigious nominations each.
Other British nominees include Paolo Nutini, Jessie Ware, FKA Twigs, Ella Henderson, Lily Allen, Coldplay, One Direction, Royal Blood and Clean Bandit.
International acts in the mix include Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Beck, Sia and 5 Seconds of Summer.
