Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left cringing at the weekend when one audience member made a rather embarrassing mistake.
The audience member mistakenly thought she had been randomly chosen to take part in the show’s popular game ‘Win the ads’ but after excitedly jumping up and celebrating, the women soon realised it was in fact the women sitting behind her who had been selected.

Fans of the show branded the unfortunate moment “the most awkward TV moment of 2016” and took to Twitter to express their thoughts at the situation.
Loveable duo Ant and Dec handled the awkward situation well saying “There was a bit of confusion there… sorry love, it was the woman behind you.”
Luckily the woman saw the funny side of the situation and was caught laughing afterwards.
The women who actually got chosen went away with nothing after gambling in the final question, only to get the answer wrong.
