Fans have been loving The Weeknd's fifth studio album 'Dawn FM' which he dropped on 7th January, and it didn't take long for them to start analysing the lyrics...

People have been looking for clues about the singer's love life and his rumoured relationship with Angelina Jolie, and after paying close attention to several songs, they are even more certain that he is dating the actress.

The dating rumours started when the pair were spotted leaving a restaurant together in Los Angeles in July 2021. They were spotted out together again in September, and the relationship rumours have been in full swing since.

Although both The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, and Angelina Jolie haven't officially given anything away about their budding relationship, fans are CONVINCED Abel left some clues in his lyrics.

His song 'Here We Go...Again' seems to offer the biggest clue with the lyric: "My new girl, she a movie star," a line which appears many times throughout the song.

This sent fans into a frenzy, as it seems like such a HUGE hint, and Twitter users continued fuelling the rumours from there.

The lyrics from 'Here We Go...Again' also supposedly refer to Abel's ex Bella Hadid, who he dated on and off for four years before the pair finally called it quits in 2019: "Your girlfriend's tryna pair you with somebody more famous.

"But instead you ended up with someone so basic, faceless. Someone to take your pictures and frame it. And my new girl, she a movie star."

There is also speculation that the ENTIRE 11th track on the album could be about Angelina. 'Starry Eyes' is about asking an older woman that Abel has been into for years to let him love her.

The lyrics are: "I only met you in my dreams before when I was young and alone in the world. You were there when I needed someone to call my girl. And now you're my reality".

He also mentions that she has been burned before, which could refer to her very public split from Brad Pitt, which she has openly admitted to struggle with: "And I wanna feel you close but you're defeated, baby. Broken, hurtin', sufferin' from a shattered soul”.

Watch 'Starry Eyes' by The Weeknd:

The Weeknd's new song 'How Do I Make You Love Me?' also includes the line: "And make it last eternally?", which fans think refers to Angelina's latest movie role in The Eternals.

While the pair have said that they are just friends, a source told Us Weekly that Angelina was: "Definitely warming toward Abel. He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”

If confessing his love in his songs isn't enough to impress Angelina we don't know what will!
