James has accused the show of being fixed

Strictly Come Dancing only returned to our TV screens at the weekend, but already the show has found itself involved in a 'fix' scandal as former professional dancer James Jordan claimed the producers know who they want to win.

Tweeting his thoughts during the launch show on Saturday night (3rd September), the former dancer seemed to suggest that bosses had paired their 'favourite' professionals with the celebrities who've had the most dance training.

He wrote 'Tweeps... Did anyone notice some pro's ALWAYS get celebs that have had loads of dance training. Not fair on other pro's. Not been challenged.' (Sic)

Speaking about Louise Redknapp, James tweeted his frustration that the former pop star is already an 'amazing dancer' and reminded fans the 41-year-old was previously a judge on So You Think You Can Dance.

Not ending there, the former CBB contestant then went on to accuse the show of fixing it for one of the Clifton's to win. Kevin and his wife Karen are both firm fan favourites of the show, with Kevin being paired with Louise and Karen with professionally trained ballet dancer Will Young.

Despite James' accusations, bosses of the popular dancing show have rubbished claims, with a spokesperson saying “This claim is complete and utter rubbish. Pairing of celebrities with the professional dancers is based on many factors and designed to give the celebrities the best possible experience on the show. It’s the public who decides the winner, not the producers.”

It seems fans of the show also don't agree with James' controversial tweets. Viewers were quick to disagree with his thoughts, calling the dancer 'bitter' and 'jealous'.

James was a popular member of the Strictly cast until he announced he was leaving the show in 2012. The outspoken reality star then went on to show his controversial side when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, finishing in third place.

James is married to fellow Strictly star Ola Jordan who also left the show 2015.

Meanwhile, the new celebrities are set to take to the ballroom when the show returns after a three week break for rehearsals.
