Rihanna’s just landed a role in a musical

Rihanna’s just bagged another acting role. The singer is reportedly set to star in a new musical film called ‘Annette’. According to Variety, the film follows the life of a stand up comedian who’s left to bring up his two year old daughter with a surprising gift after his wife dies. Also due to star in the film is Adam Driver, best known for his role in Girls.

Rihanna made her acting debut in 2012’s ‘Battleship’ as Cora ‘Weps’ Raikes . Since then she’s made cameos in various movies including Ocean Eight’s and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

The singer’s been in Paris this week for her Fenty x Puma Autumn Winter 2017 show, it’s Ri-Ri’s third collection for the brand. The audience for the show included Future, The Dream, Cara Delevingne and Nick and Joe Jonas.
