Rihanna Named The Most Streamed Female On Planet Earth

Rihanna has been named the most streamed female artist on the planet.

To celebrate International Women’s Day last Saturday (8th March), music streaming service Spotify released a list of the 10 most listened to female singers across the globe.

Thanks to anthems like ‘Diamonds’, ‘Stay’ and ‘We Found Love’, Bajan superstar Rihanna topped the list for the second year on the bounce ahead of Katy Perry.

The multi-million selling stars were followed close behind by Lana Del Rey in third spot and Beyoncé and Pink who are fourth and fifth respectively.

In the UK alone Rihanna is also the most streamed artist, however UK listeners consume more Beyoncé music than Katy Perry.
