17 years after the original Legally Blonde film hit the cinemas, Reese Witherspoon is FINALLY giving us some much needed updates on the long awaited third installment of the film franchise, telling us she is having a "great time" working the on the script.

Reese will reprise her role as the "beloved character" Elle Woods, admitting, "You just want her to go on a hero’s journey like she does in the first movie, and I’m having a great time working on it."

Fans may also see the return of Warner Huntington III, played by Matthew Davis. Speaking to ET, the actor said, "I would love to see something where perhaps Warner is married to a politician, to a woman who’s running for office, and he’s sort of like a kept man."

We NEED to see this!

The Big Little Lies star informed us that they are currently making sure the storyline is just right, therefore haven't shot anything yet for the film.
