After delighting audiences with his performance in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, actor Rami Malek has landed himself a role in the 25th installment of James Bond, being cast to play 007's super-villain.
Rami, who won an Oscar earlier this year, was announced to be cast in the movie today (Thurday 25th April), during a special Bond25 press conference which was held in Jamaica - where 007 author Ian Fleming has a stunning villa.
As the whole cast for the hugely-anticipated movie was announced, Rami said via video-link, "I’m very much looking forward to joining the cast and crew so very soon. I will be making sure Mr Bond will not be having an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing.
Along with Rami, and of course Mr Bond himself, Daniel Craig, a number of other high-profile stars will also appear in the movie, which is set for release in April 2020.
Returning to the cast from the 2015 movie Spectre, Ralph Fiennes will continue his role as M, with Ben Whishaw playing tech-king Q. There's also a return for Rory Kinnear as Tanner, and actress Naomi Harris, who plays the infamous role of Moneypenny.
Alongside the already star-studded cast, bosses have confirmed a number of new members, including Cuban actress Ana de Armas, who will undoubtedly become one of the most iconic Bond girls, as well as Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch.
During today's live press conference, details about filming locations were also revealed, with bosses confirming shooting will take place in Jamaica, Norway, London and Italy, making it one of the most anticipated films of 2020.
Meanwhile, despite fans of the hit movie franchise hoping to find out the name of the 25th movie, bosses continue to keep tight-lipped, simply using the #BOND25 name on their social media platforms.

Reports are rife that this movie will be Daniel Craig's last playing the role of 007. The actor first joined the cast back in 2006, when he took over the role from Pierce Brosnan on the movie Casino Royale.
He then appeared in Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), and most most recently in Spectre (2015).
The 25th James Bond movie is expected for release in April 2020! 🙌
