Pierce Brosnan shares kind message for the people of Belfast

Pierce Brosnan has wrapped filming for his upcoming film 'The Last Rifleman' and praised the people of Belfast for their kind hospitality.
He's been in Northern Ireland for the last six weeks, and has been spotted checking out a number of popular restaurants and attractions.
What is Pierce Brosnan filming in Northern Ireland?
Pierce plays the role of Artie Crawford, a WWII veteran who escapes his care home in Northern Ireland and embarks on an arduous but inspirational journey to France to attend the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, finding the courage to face the ghosts of his past.
Sharing some BTS pics from set on his Instagram, Pierce left a the kind message...
"Final day of filming at the Bayeux Cathedral in Normandy on “The Last Rifleman” Playing Artie Crawford, 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles , retired, 92 and 3/4 years old. …six glorious weeks in Belfast in the company of great film makers. Pierce Brosnan swapped Hollywood Los Angeles for Holywood County Down, lunching in popular family-run restaurant Fontana. They were the first to break the news of the star's return to Northern Ireland.
