Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse has set the record straight on her potential exit from the series, after previously making a comment that "this year’s Strictly will be the last one". The star has revealed that she will in fact be sticking around for a bit longer, however will take things one season at a time.

Speaking to Metro about her previous comment, Oti explained: "I don't know why I said that but I will take it a season at a time. I don't know what came over me. I'll see how I feel to be honest."

She then continued: "The first thing that I have to say, this job that I have is one of the best jobs that I've ever had and Strictly for me is the most amazing experience of my life. It's the professional dancers, it's the celebrities, it's the crew that we all feel like a family and every single year it just gets better and better."

Oti, who is one of the most successful professionals on the show, being crowned the winner for the last two years, then described Strictly's crew as being like family members.

Fans were led to think that the star would not be continuing with her Strictly career, after comments she made in an interview with The Telegraph earlier this year. The 30-year-old said: "I love to dance and also I love bringing joy to so many people, but I think that this year’s Strictly will be the last one."

Thank goodness she cleared that up!
