One Direction Join Forces With Pop Punk Band
They've hit the studio with Good Charlotte
One Direction have joined forces with US pop-punk band Good Charlotte on new material!
Louis Tomlinson broke the news on Twitter early on Saturday morning, writing: “Great working with the Good Charlotte boys today!!”
Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden later revealed that they’ve united with 1D’s chief songwriters Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne in the studio on new material.
Describing 1D’s fourth album as ‘crazy’, Benji wrote:
Benji’s identical twin Joel later posted the above photo of the brothers with Liam on Instagram.
Last week, Irish band Kodaline confirmed they were working with Harry Styles on new music. "In the studio with Harry Styles in LA writing a tune, sounds massive," they Tweeted.
One Direction’s fourth studio album is likely to be released this autumn.
Speaking to Entertainment NOW! last month, Louis said he hoped the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Midnight Memories’ will be “different.”
He said: “We’ve only just started writing it so we haven’t really got a clear idea of exactly how it’s gonna be, but (it will be) a similar vein to ‘Midnight Memories’, our last album, but we’re going to try something slightly different.”
