EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy has shown off her impressive three stone weight-loss, after successful completing the London Marathon in honour of her former co-star Barbara Windsor, who is living with Alzheimer's disease.

Natalie, who plays the role of Sonia Fowler in the BBC soap, looked fresh-faced as she finished the 26.2 mile course, showing off her slim figure.

According to reports, Natalie lost three stone in preparation for the run, with the actress saying on her podcast, “I have learnt how to eat and how to be comfortable with who I am. You get wiser as you get older and I just feel much more confident and comfortable."

The actress, who has two children, Eliza Beatrice Cottrell (born in 2010), and Joanie Elizabeth Cassidy-Humphreys, (born in 2016), has been open and honest about her yo-yo weight in the past, has now admitted she's more "more comfortable" with her current weight.

Meanwhile, Natalie took part in Sunday's London Marathon in aid of Dementia Revolution, in an attempt to raise money and awareness for people living with Alzheimer's disease, just like her former co-star and EastEnders legend Barbara Windsor.

Joining Natalie on the run was Kellie Shirley (Carly Wicks), Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale), Tanya Franks (Rainie Cross), Jake Wood (Max Branning), Jamie Borthwick (Jay Brown), Jane Slaughter (barmaid Tracey), and Emma Barton (Honey Edwards).

Barbara's husband Scott also took part, with the team raising over £132,000.

After the run, Natalie took to Twitter to write, 'Well.. yesterday was the most amazing day. I just want to thank each and every one of you who donated, who cheered us all on, to all of the other @DementiaRev runners who I spoke to along the route. What an achievement. We did it! Thank you everyone. ❤️'. sic

Well done guys! 🙌
