Myles Stephenson suffers 'set back' after horrific snowboarding accident
He had a hemothorax and needed a chest drain
Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson updated his fans last week, after suffering some serious injuries following a horrific snowboarding accident in Andorra which left him in Intensive Care.
After revealing he was recovering well despite having concussion, breaking two ribs and puncturing his spleen, the I'm A Celebrity star has now suffered a 'set back' in his recovery, with his mum giving the update.
Posting on Myles' Instagram Story over the weekend, Myles' mum Vicky wrote, 'Myles has a bit of a set back today.
'He had a heamothorax and needed a chest drain. He is still thinking of you all and still getting grumpy with his mummy!' (sic)
It comes just days after Myles revealed he was recovering in the Intensive Care Unit, telling fans on a video, "Hey - what up people? I look a bit worse for wear, don't I? Thank you for all your messages. Basically I broke a few ribs, I ruptured my spleen and have some internal bleeding.
"That has stopped now, so I'm just chilling here on ICU - It's like a five-star ICU, it's amazing.
"My mum and the rest of my family are getting me through this. I'm counting my blessings day in, day out. Always tell your loved ones you love them. Peace."
Since the horrific accident, Myles' fans and friends have been sending messages of support, with his Rak-Su band mates asking fans to keep him in their prayers.
Sharing a snap of Myles on Instagram, the boys wrote, 'Our bro @mylesraksu still in hospital atm after his skiing accident but he’s on the mend ❤️❤️ everyone keep him in your prayers x' (sic)
We wish Myles a speedy recovery!
