Love Island star Samira Mighty may not have found love in the villa after quitting to follow Frankie Foster back home, but she caught EVERYONE'S attention when she revealed that she'd once dated Hollywood star Chris Pine.
The 22-year-old West End star, who split from Frankie in August after it was revealed that he had drunkenly hit on other girls AND slammed their relationship as 'fake', revealed in the villa that she'd once bumped into the 'Star Trek' actor at an event.
She told Metro.co.uk before entering the villa that she'd met the 38-year-old at an after party for the GQ Man of the Year awards in 2016, revealing that her very first thought upon meeting him was ‘God he was in that movie with Lindsay Lohan’ but added that she thought he seemed ‘fun and cool’.
She explained, "I kind of looked him up and thought, 'He’s actually a pretty big deal'. He was like, 'Take my number'. The next day me and my friend were like, 'He’s not gonna text me', and then he did.
"I’d just broken up with my boyfriend as well so I was like, 'I’m gonna go on a date with Chris Pine!'", revealing that they'd gone on a date to the Soho Hotel where he was staying and saying that although it was ‘really strange’ it was also ‘great’.

It was the romance that no Love Island fans saw coming, but when Georgia had her heart broken by Josh, Sam was ready with open arms to console the loyal 20-year-old.
After getting to know each other for a number of days, the pair were going from strength to strength until a cruel twist made them decide between leaving the villa together or staying and splitting up.
In a decision which wasn't understood by their fellow Islanders, Georgia and Sam decided to split up and remain in the villa, with bosses throwing in new faces for them to go on dates with.
However, after realising they'd made the wrong decision, both Georgia and Sam refused to recouple with anybody else and were therefore dumped from the villa one week before the final.

Since leaving the show, Sam and Georgia moved in together in London, with Sam officially asking Georgia to be his girlfriend during a live interview on Good Morning Britain.
Sadly, the pair split in October 2018 after Georgia spent the night at her ex-boyfriend's house - but claims she stayed in another room.

However, an interview with Metro.co.uk and Chris Pine has called Samira's story into question, as Chris completely dodged the question when asked about her.
As the reporter asks, "Do you know about the TV show Love Island? There was someone on there that I think you were friends with, Samira Mighty?"
The video shows Chris' face drop, as he shrugs and walks away. What a conundrum!
