Love Island winner Liam Reardon has addressed rumours that he already knew partner Millie Court prior to appearing on the popular ITV2 dating show.

22-year-old Welsh bricklayer Liam and 24-year-old Millie won Love Island together last week, but throughout their time on the reality show, fans have speculated that the couple knew each other previously.

After a lot of digging on social media, many fans believe the pair originally met at Wayne Lineker's O Beach club in Ibiza three years ago.

Fans claimed the pair posted pictures on social media of themselves at the popular celebrity haunt in 2018, partying just days apart from each other.

It was later claimed that a photo posted by Liam of him and his friend at the resort showed Millie, wearing a white bikini, stood in the background.

Speaking out on Instagram in a Q and A, Liam finally looked to put the rumour to bed.

One fan commented: 'Was Millie actually in that pic of u in Ibiza 3yrs ago? (sic).'

Liam revoked the claims and simply replied: "Not sure who it is but it's definitely not Millie."

After a turbulent relationship including a Casa Amor break, where it emerged Liam had kissed Lillie Haynes three times, the pair stormed to victory, taking home the ÂŁ50,000 prize money.

Since arriving back in the UK, Liam and Millie have been forced to quarantine separately, but are now set to rekindle the romance and meet each other's families.
