Love Island 2018 winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer have announced their split just one day before the release of Dani's debut autobiography What Would Dani Do? My Guide to Living Your Best Life.

Despite Dani insisting the pair have been 'so much happier' since they decided to move out of their shared pad and live apart, Jack's now announced the pair's break-up on Instagram Stories and claimed the couple 'aren't meant to be.' 💔

He said: "There is no easy way to say this and it isn't going to be an easy time but me and Dai are not in a relationship anymore.

"We will always care a lot for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.

"We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things just aren't meant to be and we really did try and make it work but unfortunately didn't and that is life.

"That's all I have to say, a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in the public eye so I hope everyone is considerate and understands this. X"

This all comes after Dani told heat the couple have been 'happier' since deciding to live apart. She told us: "Mine and Jack’s old flat became a work home, we filmed a lot in there, it was very cramped, there was stuff everywhere, it never became our home. And I think we rushed into it. And that’s probably what put a strain on it. We moved in together, were still learning about each other, were filming together every single day...we were driving each other crazy!

"We still see each other all the time but we have our own spaces too, which is the best of both worlds."
