Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton Divorce
They separate on the grounds of Liam's adultery
Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton have divorced after six years of marriage.
All Saints singer Nicole was granted a ‘quickie divorce’ at the Principal Registry of the High Court in London this morning after Liam admitted adultery.
The Appleton N M v Gallagher L J P case was the second of 12 undefended cases that were granted a decree nisi by District Judge Anne Aitken. Liam and Nicole did not attend the brief hearing in person.
According to court papers made public today, a sworn statement by Nicole last December said that Liam “admitted adultery to me prior to it becoming publicised in national newspapers”.
The statement added that the woman “now has a child” with the Beady Eye and former Oasis rocker.
Liam admitted the alleged adultery and did not contend the divorce.
The couple were married at Westminister Registry Office in February 2008 and have a son together, Gene Gallagher, who was born seven years earlier.
Liam has now fathered four children from four separate relationships, including 14-year-old son Lennon Francis with Patsy Kensit and 15-year-old daughter Molly with Lisa Moorish.
