Check out which other famous faces have welcomed babies in 2023:
It's safe to say Laura and Gary's relationship hasn't had the smoothest of journeys. After the pair both appeared on the 2022 series of E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating, they found a connection with each other and confirmed they were dating in November.
Despite spending Christmas together and Laura being there for Gary following his horrific car accident on Boxing Day, fans were convinced they'd gone their separate ways in January, after Laura confirmed she was 'going through a tough time'.
However, the couple shocked fans in February by announcing on Instagram that they were expecting a baby together, with Laura sharing a Reel showing off her bump, attending scans, showing her dog her baby scans, and Gary holding up a baby grow with the words 'The one where we become parents. Baby Lucy. Due August 2023'.
In another twist in the story, just hours after confirming they were expecting a baby together, Gary spoke to the press to confirm the pair had actually split up, which led to Laura editing the caption on her post to remove all trace of the actor.
Laura then took part in an honest Q&A with fans, where she revealed all about the drama.
Admitting she was "definitely not" on good terms with Gary, Laura confirmed the baby was actually planned at the time, and speaking on the break-up, she said: "I really don't want to get into this, there's loads of reasons you know, the truth always come out in the end, whatever.
"But I did DEFINITLY NOT tell Gary to move to Scotland."
Going on to reveal why the pair had fallen out since the initial announcement, Laura added: "We agreed to announce the pregnancy together and he wanted to be involved in the video, but he didn't share it that day, which was difficult. Then that evening in the press he said that we'd broken up, even though he'd told me not to tell anyone we'd broken up quite a while before that."
Although he has kept relatively silent about the situation, former Footballers' Wives actor Gary, who is already a dad to his four children, did confirm the gender in March. Although Laura had so far kept the gender of her baby a secret, on Thursday 23rd March, Gary revealed to fans she was expecting a baby girl.
Sharing a clip art saying 'Daddy's Girl' alongside the baby scan, he wrote: 'Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyoneā¦ so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!'.
Gary then wrote: 'For every that's ben asking... Let's hope she inherits her mummy's looks'. (sic)
It's understood Laura and Gary will co-parent the new arrival, with Laura previously confirming she'd been in contact with Gary's ex-wife Natasha to ensure the baby is involved with Gary's other children.
Just days ahead of the birth, Laura and Gary were spotted spending time together at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, with reports suggesting they'd squashed their previous drama.
Congratulations to the pair on the arrival of their baby girl! š¶
