Lady Gaga 'Cooked On A Spit Roast' At SXSW Gig

Lady Gaga was back to her sensationalist ways with a dramatic low-key performance at South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas last night.

Mother Monster wowed the crowd at the intimate gig – billed as 'Lady Gaga's BBQ - Haus of Swine' – by arriving on stage tied to a giant spit roast.

As clouds of smoke billowed, Gaga was rolled and rotated as leather clad men prodded her with straps while she somehow managed to belt out opening number ‘Aura’.

Once down from the spit roast Gaga stripped to nothing but bra and knickers and proceeded to belt out hits like ‘Manicure’, ‘Swine’ and ‘Dope’.

Angered by the crowd filming the gig on their mobile phones, a sweary mouthed Gaga said: "Do me a favour and don't take a picture. Put your fing phones down. F your cell phones and your fuck your friends instead.”

After getting the biggest reaction of the night with ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Applause’, Gaga dedicated the final song ‘Gypsy’ to the victims of the SXSW car crash that claimed two lives and injured dozens of others.

She said: "I really want to dedicate this song to the tragedy of last night… (life is) so short sometimes and it's so unfair."
