The actress, who has played Michelle Connor on the soap since 2006, said, 'Last night was a night I will never forget. I became a “Loli” for the first time!!! My beautiful daughter was an absolute warrior and her partner and I were the best birthing team we could be!!!' sic.

She continued in her announcement, 'I was so honoured to have been a part of bringing him into the world. My beautiful grandson, I love you I will always love you and I promise to help guide you through life as best I can. Welcome to the world “Baby Hoz” #name to follow 💙💙' sic.

Kym's 21-year-old daughter Emilie confirmed the news that she was pregnant to OK! Magazine in November last year (2018).

Speaking to the publication, Emilie said, "I keep thinking, am I really going to be able to do this? For ages I couldn't actually get the words 'I'm pregnant' out of my mouth because I didn't know how people would react – I even made mum tell my dad! Luckily, I have the most supportive parents in the world and they're both really excited."

Kym, who was also a young mother, spoke to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning in January and said, "Obviously it was a shock initially and wasn’t something I was expecting quite so soon, but I’m ecstatic and can’t wait. "

"My mum was 18 when she had my eldest brother, my sister was 18 when she had her first child, and I was 18 when I had David... so actually, you’ve done quite well!"

Congratulations, Kym and Emilie!
