Justin Bieber tricked fans into thinking his wife Hailey Baldwin is pregnant

He revealed he was taking a break from music to focus on being a good husband and father, so when Justin Bieber posted a photo of a baby scan to his Instagram page last night, fans were convinced his wife Hailey Baldwin was expecting the couple's first child.

The 25-year-old singer shared the below shot to his 107 million Instagram followers, with no caption...

Just one hour later, Biebs whipped up even more excitement when he posted another shot, this time of his wife Hailey in a maternity ward, captioning the snap with, 'If U thought it was April fools'. sic

Of course, fans of the popular singer went into complete meltdown at this point, thinking their idol was going to become a dad. One user wrote, 'CONGRATS😍😫😍', with another adding, 'OMG wonderful news!'.

HOWEVER, the whole story took another twist later on in the evening, when the 'Sorry' singer revealed it was all just a prank for April Fool's Day.

Sharing another snap of a baby scan, but this time with puppy visible, JB wrote, 'Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS'. sic

The singer's prank hasn't gone down well with some people, with various fans slamming the couple for being 'insensitive'.

Meanwhile, fans have been wondering for weeks if the young couple will start a family, following their whirlwind wedding in 2018. After announcing their engagement in summer 2018, the couple wasted no time in tying the knot, with Hailey confirming she'd married the popular singer later in the year.
