Jonnie Irwin has been sharing some cute photos of his holiday, as he enjoyed some time away with his family.

The TV presenter, who is married to Jessica Holmes, has three children, four-year-old Rex, and two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac, shared photos of the three kids in their swimming gear, along with photo of them sitting with him on a sun lounger, wearing cute matching shirts.

In the other photos, the family can be seen sitting down for a meal with some friends, and relaxing outdoors.

Since Jonnie posted the pics he's received a number of lovely comments from fans, with one writing: 'Looks like you’ve had a lovely time 🥰💚', another fan wrote: 'Absolutely gorgeous pictures and memories for all your family 💞💞'.

In recent days, Jonnie has also shared a photo from his car, revealing that it was 'acoustic hell' as they drove more than five hours back from their holiday. Each of this kids had a tablet without headphones!

In November last year, Jonnie revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer, and only given months to live. He revealed earlier this year that he has yet to tell his children about his diagnosis, as he thought it might 'confuse' them.

Speaking late last year to Hello! Magazine about his diagnosis, Jonnie revealed he was given just six months left to live when he was first diagnosed with lung cancer back in August 2020.

He said: "Within a week of flying back from filming, I was being given six months to live. I had to go home and tell my wife, who was looking after our babies, that she was on her own pretty much. That was devastating. All I could do was apologise to her. I felt so responsible."

With the help of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, Jonnie's prognosis was lengthened, allowing him to carry on with certain work.

He had kept his diagnosis secret until November 2022, revealing he hopes to inspire people who are living with life-limiting prospects to make the most of every day.

"It's got to the point now where it feels like I’m carrying a dirty secret – it’s become a monkey on my back. I hope that by shaking that monkey off and talking to HELLO!, I might inspire people who are living with life-limiting prospects to make the most of every day; to help them see that you can live a positive life, even though you are dying," he explained.
