Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson says she no longer cares what people think of her looks 🙌
Yes Jesy!
Little Mix fans were left heartbroken earlier this year, when singer Jesy Nelson bravely revealed in her documentary Odd One Out that she tried to take her own life at the beginning of her career, due to the horrendous online abuse about her physical appearance.
After fans rallied around the singer, as well as her band mates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and her boyfriend Chris Hughes, it now sounds like the 28-year-old is totally confident in herself, admitting she 'doesn't give a c--p' what trolls think.
Speaking in an interview with House of Soho, Jesy revealed as she's matured she's learnt how to love herself, saying, "You get more confident as you get older, and you learn not to give a c---p as much."
Fellow band mate Jade also agreed, telling the publication, "I think we have just grown into our skin.
"We are so comfortable and confident now... that's not to say we don't have days where we feel like c--p. We just like not wearing makeup, as well as wearing makeup now."
28-year-old Leigh-Anne then added, "It takes a lot of effort to keep worrying about things. As soon as you think. 'You know what? Forget it', life becomes a lot easier."
