Popular This Morning presenters, and all-round national treasures, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be taking a break from the show, starting today (12th July) as the pair head off on their 'summer break'. From today, we won't be seeing the playful duo until early September.

Despite the pair's replacement being unconfirmed, fans are pretty much convinced that Friday/weekend This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and wife Ruth Langsford are looking most likely.

Prior to Holly and Phil heading off on their holibobs, a spokesperson for the show said, "Similar to previous years, it's Phil and Holly's last day presenting This Morning tomorrow before their summer break.

"They will be back presenting the show early September."

According to Digital Spy, that leaves us with a mere seven weeks and two days to get through until we get to catch our precious presenting-duo on This Morning again.

Other potential hosts rumoured to be taking the hot spot include Rochelle Humes, Mark Wright, Rylan Clark-Neal and Eamonn, John Barrowman and Emily Atack, who have all featured on the show before.

The break comes shortly after these two proved they are 100% friendship goals, with Holly posting a heartwarming tribute to her BFF Phil on Father's Day, refering to him as 'one of my best friends in the world'. CUTE!
