Dec Donnelly has been photographed out and about for the first time since announcing he's going to become a dad with his wife Ali Astall. The popular TV presenter couldn't stop smiling as he left his house this morning.
Despite a tough few weeks, Dec looked happier than ever as he headed to the ITV studios from his marital home in London.
Just hours earlier, Dec announced the happy news that his wife Ali was pregnant with the couple's first child. Taking to his social media accounts, Dec shared a photo of the couple holding hands on their wedding day and wrote, 'Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child. Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it ❤️ D x sic
With over half a million people liking the post on Instagram, thousands of messages were sent to congratulate the Geordie presenter.
Before romantically falling for each other, Ali was actually Dec's manager for over a decade. After the couple went public with their relationship, Dec and Ali tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Dec's hometown of Newcastle.
A number of famous faces attended the wedding, including the likes of Tess Daley, Stephen Mulhern, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Meanwhile, Dec is preparing to host the final two shows of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. The final show of the series on Saturday 7th April is set to take place at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
