It looks like Love Island 2018 winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have split for good this time.

Jack broke the hearts of the nation when he announced the pair have broken up on Instagram last night, and now they've gone as far as to unfollow each other on social media as Dani keeps silent on the situation.

Though Dani's yet to address the split, Jack announced the news with a heartfelt statement explaining the couple 'aren't meant to be.'

He said, "There is no easy way to say this and it isn't going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore. We will always care a lot for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.

"We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things just aren't meant to be and we really did try and make it work but unfortunately didn't and that is life.

"That's all I have to say, a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in the public eye so I hope everyone is considerate and understands this. X" sic

Remember when they, like, got engaged on the show? That one didn't quite last...

Dani had recently claimed the pair were 'happier' after making the decision to live apart.

She told heat, "Mine and Jack’s old flat became a work home, we filmed a lot in there, it was very cramped, there was stuff everywhere, it never became our home. And I think we rushed into it. And that’s probably what put a strain on it. We moved in together, were still learning about each other, were filming together every single day...we were driving each other crazy!

"We still see each other all the time but we have our own spaces too, which is the best of both worlds."
