The movie awards season is officially on!
Yes, Stephen Fry and Sam Claflin both set their alarm clocks very early this morning to announce the nominees 2015 EE British Academy Film Awards at BAFTA's Piccadilly headquarters (9th January).
Wes Anderson’s critically acclaimed opus The Grand Budapest Hotel leads the nominations pack with 11 prestigious nods, while black comedy Birdman and Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything follow close behind with 10 nominations each.
Another British film, The Imitation Game, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as WWII code breaker Alan Turing, received nine nods.

The BAFTAs take place at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday 8th February.
