Former Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian has got married! The 37-year-old, who used to play Becca Dean on the soap, has revealed that she tied the knot to her long-term partner David O'Mahoney after being together for almost three years.

Ali, who became engaged to David in April 2018 after 18 months of dating, married David at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, with plenty of her former Hollyoaks colleagues in attendance including Danny Mac, who played Dodger Savage and Carley Stenson (Steph Cunningham) who actually sang as she walked down the aisle.

The actress, who currently stars as Practice Manager Becky Clarke in Doctors, also had Westlife's Kian Egan in the audience at the do along with his wife Jodi Albert, as Ali called the day "magical" to OK! magazine.

She said, "It was everything I dreamed of and more. It really was the happiest day of my life. We held each other's hands so tightly all the way through the ceremony. We were both on the edge of tears."

David added, "Ali took my breath away. She looked absolutely stunning, so incredibly gorgeous. I felt so proud – proud of how beautiful she looked, and proud that she was on time!"

Ali, who also starred in long-running police soap The Bill as PC Sally Armstrong for two years, announced her engagement to David last April after his proposal took her completely by surprise.

After a trip to London's West End to see a musical, David popped the question, with Ali saying at the time, "Even though we'd discussed marriage, it took me completely by surprise. I still think, has this really happened?"

Congratulations to the couple!
